It was quite a walk to Maderno to get the ferry to other parts of the lake. Although advertised there was a distinct lack of facilities for children, the children's pool was not cleaned at all where as the other pool was. Staff weren't proactive in explaining how things work. A welcome pack for kids was advertised this wasn't received. Didn't see any sign of animation team although advertised. No entertainment

Its location was fabulous formally walked to the lake surrounded by mountains and beautiful trees that you walked through to get to the lake. The rooms were quirky all the architecture in it where it was originally an old monastery is just stunning. It’s relaxing peaceful fault it absolutely loved it.

Lovely place, old fashioned but clean well equipped room. I booked half board but first evening I went for dinner was not informed of procedure and not offered anything to drink. Felt I was ignored somewhat because I was a lone traveller.
