    Our accommodation was spectacular. My only minor issue was that, although we booked a sea-view room, the view was quite limited due to a large palm tree directly in front of the room. However, this was only a small issue and certainly didn’t spoil our stay. The room itself was luxurious, with both air conditioning and a ceiling fan, a whirlpool bath, and a huge shower room honestly, it was big enough to fit eight people in! The room was spotlessly clean every day, with fresh, clean towels provided daily. Having a safe in the room without having to pay a deposit was also a lovely touch. The food was superb, with a fantastic variety of choices, and the service throughout the resort was excellent. All of the staff were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The whole complex was exceptionally clean and finished to a very high standard. We decided to upgrade to Diamond Club, which included butler service, and Alberto and Rodrigo were absolutely amazing throughout our entire stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. As it was our anniversary, they even decorated our room for us, which was such a lovely and unexpected surprise. Being Diamond Club members also meant we could order room service directly from the TV. Everything arrived within 30 minutes every time, and it was completely free. Our mini-bar was replenished every day, and we were also given two bottles of wine and a 1-litre bottle of spirits of our choice. Overall, we had an absolutely fantastic stay. The accommodation, food, facilities and staff were all exceptional, and the Diamond Club upgrade was definitely worth it. We will 100% be going back at some point!

    The hotel was lovely, the staff could not do enough for you. Overall the hotel is huge, so some elements of service gets lost due to the size of the place. There were elements in the room that looked tired and worn. We had to ask for the room to be fumigated due to mosquito bites. However we suspected that there bed bugs and asked the hotel fumigate the bed, which they said they couldn’t. We were not offered a welcome drink, even thought the hideaway reception is in its own bar area. I had been in touch direct with the hotel, as the holiday was a surprise for my husband’s 60th birthday, to arrange the room to be decorated. This did not happen. We told the hotel of our disappointments. The gala night was not a gala night, nothing extra or special about the night. Been to other hotels where it is the main event of the week. It’s a lovely place, just not for us.

    Staff lovely Since home though my daughter has been diagnosed with the parasite that's in mexico at the minute. Despite being very very careful and avoiding salad etc
