The H10 Mediterranean Village is a \"cashless\" hotel. They have wristbands that act as your room/door entry but also for payment. You can pay cash to the reception staff and they load the money onto your wristband. It's good as it means you dont need to carry cash on site. There are 3 restaurants and a reasonably priced supermarket on site. Restaurant 1 serves pizza and pasta and salads, restaurant 2 serves proper lunches, Mediterranean style, and the 3rd is a stack bar for Baguettes, chips, burgers etc. I would say these were reasonably priced on the whole. The supermarket sells crisps, biscuits, bread, alcohol, kids goggles, few toiletries quite a variety and in some cases cheaper than local alternatives. The hotel has a choice of self catering or half board. The hotel encourages you to buy a water bottle which is refillable at the on-site dispenser, as preferable to plastic bottles. Some things I wasn't expecting, no kettle in room (you could hire one for about 22 euros for 10 nights, evening meal drinks were not included in half board and you had to pay extra, even for water. We took our own beach/pool towels but you can hire towels for 20 euros. There was a fridge in the room and the rooms were fairly well equipped with decent bathrooms, shower and bath. Would have benefitted from a plug socket near each bedside table. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed daily which was good. Reception staff were very helpful (thank you Judith!) as we're all the staff on site to be fair, all really friendly. Overall a good holiday, just let down slightly by the limited choice of main courses for evening meal. Not sure I would stay again as felt it was a little remote and had to get buses or taxi into Salou/Cambrils or the other way to the beach/shops at La Pineda. There were a couple of small covers type bays within walking distance.

Entertainment at night way to loud. Food was awful and very poorly organised.
