Very clean and spacious

Service, quality and location was spot on.

The room was clean, basic but a good size, could do with a some maintenance to be comparable to our usual experience of four star accommodation (tap leaked, knobs missing from cupboard doors, floor surface was worn off). Pool area was a good size and plenty of loungers, lifeguard was visible paying attention. However the pool area got very muddy every day and stained the towels, and some mornings there was litter from the previous day still present. The staff gave very minimal information on check in so we dragged our cases around for longer than necessary trying to find our room and the following morning we had to ask other guests for directions to breakfast as it wasn't easy to find. We were later asked the same by newer arrivals so that's clearly a common issue.

Accommodation was very good. However, it states a secret path to your beach. I feel it makes it sound like a private beach, but it's not. It's open to the whole of Cala'n Bosch, therefore extremely busy. Lovely beach however just feel description a bit misleading.

This is an area of concern. On arrival we were allocated room 5 which had a dreadful smell of drains/sewage. We immediately asked for another room only to be told we had to stay in it for one night and it would be changed tomorrow. I declined and insisted on a move which was granted. During the week we were aware of 2 other couples who were placed in 5 - they complained about the smell - and 1 couple were told they had to stay in it for 3 days. I do not know their outcome. The hotel was excellent but anyone experience room 5 would have a genuine complaint. I strongly recommend that TUI looks into this to ensure that none of your customers have this experience. During our week there we did not see and workmen trying to rectify the situation.
