    Brilliant air con , brilliant WiFi, brilliant hotel staff, many choices for food , great sports bar, always beds available around the pools, just all round great.

    The hotel itself was very clean and the grounds and pools were generally well maintained. Our room was cleaned really well throughout our stay, the fridge was kept stocked, and the majority of the staff were polite, friendly and worked extremely hard. The entertainment team in particular were fantastic and seemed to work nonstop throughout the day. Unfortunately, the biggest issue for us was food allergy awareness. My daughter has a severe shellfish allergy which can cause life-threatening anaphylaxis, and although this was declared when we booked, we experienced several situations that made us very uncomfortable, particularly around cross-contamination at the buffet. We saw things such as shellfish being positioned close to other foods and utensils being shared between different dishes. This meant we spent a lot of the holiday worrying about whether food was safe for her. I think the hotel would massively benefit from improved allergy training and a better understanding of international food-allergy practices, particularly around buffet layouts, separate utensils and preventing cross-contamination. Guests with serious allergies should be able to enjoy their holiday without constantly worrying whether something is safe to eat. There were also some safety concerns around the swimming pools. Although the pools themselves were kept clean, we noticed broken pool lights and areas where wiring was visible/exposed. With children using the pools throughout the day, this was concerning and is something I feel should be inspected and repaired as a priority. Food generally was quite repetitive and having only one main buffet available at certain times limited the choice further. Vegetarian options could also be improved, particularly around the waterpark. There were lots of positives about the resort, including the cleanliness, pools, hardworking staff and entertainment team, but the food and allergy management and some maintenance/safety issues significantly affected our overall experience. Better allergy procedures, improved food variety and more attention to pool maintenance would have made a huge difference to our holiday.

    The rooms were dirty and there were cockroaches. The staff were indifferent to my complaints.

    The accommodation was perfectly fine. The maids could be a bit hit and miss at times but always clean towels and beds made up. The mini fridge was often missed. We had a slight problem with one of the air vents in the ceiling that just fell out but it was quickly resolved with a quick call to the front desk and a maintenance guy was out within half hour.
