    Excellent location food and lake view room. However as a couple in their 70s it would have been helpful if the Hotel employed a hotel porter that could have helped us carry the luggage down the flight of steps to the reception.

    Excellent location. Most staff were very friendly. Hotel room was spacious. Food was good and varied. Only downside was that there was no air conditioning.

    Hotel is very well presented and staff are lovely but the rooms on the side of the railway are very noisy, even throughout the night. I feel that you should be made aware of this before/on check in. We had to keep the windows closed at night to try and reduce the noise but then the room was warm and stuffy over night. Breakfast buffet was brilliant. Lots of choice and fresh. The evening meal was a bit more of a struggle as just not to our taste. Meals were well cooked and presented but the choice was quite rich meat/fish heavy. Stairs to accomodation reception are quite hard work for older guests/reduced mobility.
