Subbed were uncomfortable for a five star hotel . Hair dryer poor quality. Room cleaning was a bit lacking at times with bed covers not being replaced and shower mat left on floor in bathroom. All the staff were very friendly and helpful

Room was spacious and clean with air conditioning. They had a turn down service late afternoon where they placed a chocolate on your pillow and room service came everyday with clean towels. Staff were friendly, helpful and inviting. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool area was relaxing with plenty of sunbeds and access to the Grand Harbour for swimming. Again staff were very helpful here too. They would rush over and put your umbrella up if they noticed you doing it yourself. The hotel also has a free.taxi service which took you up the hill to the city, which was useful in the heat. We had a lovely stay and we would really recommend it. 😀

5 star and lived up to its name. The hotel is closing for a 18 month refurbishment so go before fen 2027. Having a beach was an extra we didn’t read up on. So take your snorkelling kit! Never ate in the hotel for dinner. Too expensive and much nicer restaurants a short walk away. Free mini bus available but quicker to walk if you don’t mind steps and hills

Great location, excellent facilities, air conditioned, staff really efficient, rooms a little outdated and bathrooms in particular could do with a refurb although they were spotlessley clean.

The hotel still have not returned the deposit
