    Recommended

    The hotel was clean and maintained well. The food was varied and good. There were amazing facilities and there was always something to do. The location was excellent with easy access to local amenities

    Hotel was sold as a 5 star hotel. The food did not live up to that rating. Most of the food was lukewarm. Finding hot plates proved difficult. Shortage of sunbeds was very evident.

    Regarding our stay at GF Gran Costa Adeje, we also encountered several issues, including cleanliness concerns in our room upon arrival, lengthy waits during dinner service and some inconsistencies in the management of sun loungers. However, what truly changed my impression of the hotel was the exceptional professionalism and genuine care shown by Tanya, one of the hotel managers. After I sent an email expressing my concerns, Tanya responded promptly and offered to meet me in person the very next day. We sat together in the hotel lobby and had a genuinely enjoyable and constructive conversation. What impressed me most was not simply that she listened to my complaints, but that she genuinely understood my perspective and made me feel that my feedback mattered. I could sense her sincere commitment to improving the hotel and creating a better experience for its guests. Tanya also kindly arranged a late check-out for our family, which we appreciated. However, it was her attitude, empathy and professionalism that made the greatest impression on me. I firmly believe that problems can arise at any hotel. What truly defines good hospitality is how those problems are handled. Tanya demonstrated this beautifully, and I have enormous respect for her dedication and approach. Despite the initial frustrations, her thoughtful handling of the situation completely changed how I felt about our stay. We left with a much more positive impression of the hotel, and I would genuinely consider returning in the future. I would particularly like to express my sincere thanks to Tanya. She is a real credit to GF Gran Costa Adeje, and I hope her efforts and professionalism receive the recognition they deserve. Overall, although there were areas for improvement, we appreciated the way both TUI and the hotel responded to our concerns and helped turn a disappointing start into an enjoyable family holiday.
