    Recommended

    I emailed the hotel before arriving to request a clear sea view and we had an amazing 24ft balcony overlooking the sea. The bathroom was very tired and needed updating, toilet barely flushed. Our fridge wasn’t working but as soon as we advised them a new one was installed. We had a drain problem in the second week which flooded the bathroom floor but again it was dealt with efficiently by the hotel.fourth day which was needed as we were in the furthest part away from the gate. Breakfast was amazing, so much selection and the staff at the hotel were friendly and genuinely warm and attentive. We only had one lunch at the hotel which was 90 euros, ate out in the town the rest of the time.

    Longer walk than anticipated into town, even with buggy ride part way. Took approx. 30 mins to Elounda square at a slow pace. Staff all brilliant. Room very nice. Food very expensive with no real cheaper option (but appreciate it is 5*).

    It was beautiful and tranquil. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. The room was spacious and has an amazing view of the see. It was a large hotel and spread out so you didn't feel like there were lots of other guests there. The sea was amazing and we had our own sun loungers reserved by our room which was lovely. The restaurants we great with a wide variety of food on offer and they were willing to cater for children.
