Hotel very clean ,staff excellent,food very good.

Cleaning service great. Restaurant brilliant. Entertainment fantastic...something everyday and evening. The only downside of you like to be near restaurants, bars etc is that it's a bit remote and hilly.

Where do I start the accommodation at Catalonia? Punta del Rey is described as a four star hotel on your website. There is no way that was a four star hotel. It was more like a three star hotel and I’ve stayed in many hotels. The accommodation was adequate it was very battered and very worn things like skirting boards even though they are minor had been there for 2030 years not painted the cupboards looked a little battered the actual unit where you put your bits and bobs on under the TV was battered and chipped. There was no hot water for one day which was annoying. There’s no fridge in the room which is unusual for a four star hotel and many other little things which made the holiday not forced off for us at that hotel other things like food was adequate different bits of food were all over the place for instance the rice should be next to the chilli con Carney but it was the other side of the actual restaurant to get a cup of tea. You had to go across the restaurant when you had your tea in your cup to get the proper milk as it was the other side of the restaurant not right next to the actual tea and coffee making Machine which was unusual and not annoying. My wife likes fruit in the morning. There was hardly any fruit in the mornings every morning no fruit just lemon and papaya which my wife said tasted like nothing. It was fruit earlier later on in the day but not in the morning which is very poor to me. I think we’ve been duped by this holiday. There was no way this was a four star hotel on the plus side. The accommodation was okay. The beds were comfortable. The Aircon worked the pool across the road was lovely that made the difference for if they weren’t there that would’ve been a terrible holiday.

Did not have any hot water for a shower for over 3 days, the rest of the days were slightly warm.
