    The overall look of the resort says 5* luxury but as mentioned, there are a few niggles that do not merit the high rating. The views are certainly 5* and the area is quiet and peaceful. If hiring a car suggest you collect from the airport. Also, be aware that guests have to pay the local tax which, for 5* ‘luxury’ is €15 euros per day.

    The hotel is a nice looking building with well kept gardens. Some of the communal areas good but some a bit tired in places. Infinity pool lovely until you notice the layer of green mould round edge that people have graffitied on! Our room & balcony was large with a lovely view. However, the bathroom was disappointing as it had an old-fashioned bath with shower over. V. cramped! A walk in shower/ wet room would be better as plenty of space. Wood in room looked tired, fridge in a cupboard so overheated & caused water to gather inside fridge, curtains hanging off rails, mosquito plug empty in wardrobe! Room basically needs modernising. No info in room about anything! Room didn’t appear to be actually ‘cleaned’ during our stay. Staff were generally friendly but lacked customer service skills.
