Appreciating the hotel was 3 star we would just mention the pool sunbeds are a bit dated and not very comfortable

My accommodation was in perfect location The room was infested with ants,we had cleaners in every day even purchase ant bait traps and was conscious of eating in the room,the ants were in the wardrobe and beds,bathroom.we did get bitten from them. The air conditioner unit used to drip water inside the room

This hotel is spotless everywhere. We had a comfort room with side sea view which although a bit compact, was nicely decorated and had everything we could ask for. We had a fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, twin beds, plenty of wardrobe storage , a decent TV with several uk channels, easy chair in the bedroom plus table & chairs on the balcony which had lovely views & a decent size bathroom with good shower over a full sized bath tub. Everywhere in this hotel was absolutely spotless, the staff were all lovely & the food was very good with plenty of choice & good long times available for each meal. On half board you could also choose whether you wanted lunch or evening dinner on a daily basis which was really handy. The only reason we could see why this hotel is just a 3* is that it doesn't have a sea front location - it's only a few yards back from the seafront up a little side street - and it looks exactly as it is - one of the plain & simple older buildings with thin walls! There were some daytime poolside activities and entertainment every evening which we didn't see ourselves but several other guests we were chatting to said it was very good. The bar prices were very affordable and the cocktails were brilliant. Huge servings with main brand spirits used for just a few euros. We loved the Alba Beach & will definitely visit again.
