    Booking ref ********** On arrival at your Platinum rated hotel we were not given the room we booked and was told we had a upgrade to Adult side taking on board we emailed prior to arrival requesting a room with the best sun exposure and were assured this was the better and best room for our request it was the WORST no sun whatsoever stuck in the bottom corner. After complaining and noticing a better room which was empty we were moved the day after. The rooms were basic to say the least not Platinum at all the room was different as it had no TV in the bedroom and had connecting doors in and out leaving no privacy at all. The telephone service for guest relations housekeeping was none existent as nobody EVER answered the cleaning was terrible on the first 5 days 3 of them our room was not cleaned till 5pm we had to live with dirty towels not platinum Im afraid and when eventually cleaned the bed was made and towels replaced no cleaning at all the cleaning trolley was left outside the room with dirty laundry and food covered in ants. The pool was dirty on the underside of the rim the corners had grime with snails attached the pool attendant did nothing only run a net over if any leaves were present never saw him once test or treat the water. The food in the adult side and main side was terrible cheap budget meat and cheap catering made to look presentable by clever presentation nowhere near the standard I expected after paying £6100 the adult side food not replenshed till food was cold the food that was anywhere decent to eat. The a la cart Italian Asian was the same poor quality to the point were I had square processed chicken with my starter terrible we cancelled the rest of the bookings. I have travelled the world and seen so called 5* hotels and yes they differ from place to place but quality cleanliness decent food are basic qualities expected this hotel provided none. I think on this occasion compensation is required for myself and my wife who are still working at the age of 67 and our holiday time is precious my wife has sent a official complaint with added pictures I would like this noted with it please.     “Flott opphold på Avra Imperial”

    Fantastisk hotell med god service, god mat, fine og romslige rom og godt renhold. Bassengområdene er også nydelige. Vi bodde på voksenområdet, og hadde der ikke problem med å finne ledige solsenger. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake ved en annen anledning.

    As stated Hotel is not 5star we payed a substantial premium for a suite with private pool that we were unable to use as the water temperature was freezing. The main bathroom in particular was extremely tired and required updating. Cleaning was very hit and miss we had dead ants on the bathroom window sill and bathroom floor for two days missed by two different cleaners. The outside area was not cleaned during our stay.
