    Fabulous location and accommodation was great. The staff made it special as they were very accommodating and friendly with a refreshing attitude! I asked for a quiet room and they kindly gave me one. I’m always irked by how much of a single person supplement I have to pay but I was in a super large room with a bath and jacuzzi and a walk in shower

    We have previously stayed at 2 other 5* hotels in Ixia but with other operators. Compared to those our room was very spacious and very clean. Improvements for me would be a safer shower - the bath side was very high and felt dangerous especially for a less mobile person. Also a place to dry clothes or wet swimsuits on the balcony would be useful - both other hotels had these. The hotel staff were excellent and friendly. We enjoyed a couple of music performances in the bar in the evening. Next time we will consider adults only as there were several children sometimes being disruptive at breakfast, at the pool or once in the bar in the evening (5 primary age children from one family running around the area noisily, where other customers were couples enjoying a late evening drink).

    The hotel and accommodation was very nice, which we couldn't fault the service. However I was extremely disappointed with the pool area in our room. We paid £898 for a room upgrade for a pool and sun bathing area. However the room never got the sun on the pool. The reason we paid extra was too have a relaxing time at our own pool and sunbeds. We could not sunbathe in our room. Therefore we had to go to the main pool. I was very disappointed because I feel that, in the description we should have been made aware that these rooms dont get the sun. £898 is alot of money. We could have put this to another holiday.
