We were given a warm and attentive welcome by reception staff. The hotel itself is bright and welcoming with staff who seem to be happy in their work and were always polite, helpful and attentive. Our room was large and comfortable with an uninterrupted view of the well set out swimming pool area and the grounds beyond. We did feel that the hotel is in need of a decorative update in many areas to bring it a modern feel. The hotel was however spotlessly clean. The evening menu offer was a little disappointing and needs a rethink if it is to capture the imagination of more of its customers- we were not the only guests to air this opinion.The entertainment team were excellent and very engaging and work hard to ensure that each activity can involve all ages. Their language skills are fantastic and frequently involved humour that was respectful and appropriate.

Two issues with our accommodation 1. Our balcony never got any sun at all and as we were on the top floor it was quite windy so we couldn't spend any length of time out on it even though we had 25vto 28 degrees! 2. The balcony was never cleaned while we were there. We were on the pine view side of the hotel and with the wind it did get quite a lot of debris on it.
