The room was really small but functional. We booked a double room but it was two single beds pushed together with single bedding and quilts. We had no hot water so they sent someone to fix it. We then complained to the tui rep because we still had no hot water. Again they came to fix it. Eventually we were told to run the hot tap and shower for twenty minutes and wait for the water to get hot. The food choices got smaller and smaller with each day. Because it was the end of season when they ran out of something it wasn't reordered. In the end it was meat, fish, rice and pasta every night. Breakfast and lunch wasn't much better. The drinks however were really good and most of the staff were great. None of the facilities are big enough for the size of the hotel. Some of the excursions leave before Breakfast starts but they refused to do a breakfast bag or packed lunch.

The hotel and staff were great but until the cooked food improves I would not recommend the hotel

The sun beds were not particularly comfortable. There were a section of more comfortable beds, however due to the end of season in October these were not the cleanest. Overall, we paid more money to be in the my favourite club as part of our hotel. But felt in particular there were certain aspects that didn’t really gain many benefits.. yes been on the seafront was beautiful. But other parts of the my favourite club in particular will probably pointless. There was an area that you could sit separate from everybody else but wasn’t particularly any benefit. There was also a recommended area that they had saved some beds for guests who would paid extra for my favourite club but again these didn’t particularly give any benefit. Around the main pool area.. The Line of some beds along the seafront were exceptional. They were purposely for my favourite club guests. These were outstanding. In particular, the hotel could’ve benefited from providing more comfortable lounge areas in the evening. There are a lot of people not able to enjoy the evening entertainment due to lack of seats. However, the hotel was lovely clean and friendly.

Very Disappointing Holiday – Poor Standards, Maintenance and Guest Service Unfortunately, our recent holiday was extremely disappointing and fell well below the standard we expected. The number of issues we encountered throughout our stay, including poor room maintenance, inadequate cleanliness, disappointing food, insufficient staffing and concerns about guest safety, had a significant impact on our overall experience. Accommodation and Maintenance Our room was very small, and the view was obstructed, making it difficult to relax and enjoy our surroundings. The general condition of the accommodation was also poor, with several items broken or defective, including the patio doors, kettle and toilet seat. The toilet water was brown, and there was a persistent sewage smell every afternoon, which was both unpleasant and unacceptable. The fly screen in the toilet was also ripped, further highlighting the lack of attention to basic maintenance. To make matters worse, we lost the first hour of our holiday because a workman had to repair a double-glazed balcony door that had been left broken and insecure. Having to deal with maintenance work immediately upon arrival was not the start to a relaxing holiday that anyone would reasonably expect. A balcony door should be safe, secure and fully functional before guests are given access to their room. Cleanliness, Hygiene and Guest Safety The problems were not limited to our accommodation. The public toilets within the hotel did not lock properly, raising concerns about privacy and basic facility standards. Another particularly frustrating incident involved both of us getting wet paint on ourselves after using a handrail that had recently been painted. There had been insufficient warning signage to alert guests to the wet paint, making the incident entirely avoidable. The situation was made worse by the response we received. I had to attend reception and wait approximately ten minutes for a workman to arrive. He then went to the restroom before we were able to have the paint removed from our hands using white spirit, followed by soap and water. We were concerned about this approach, as white spirit can cause skin irritation and other harmful effects when used directly on bare skin. The entire incident was poorly handled and demonstrated a lack of appropriate precautions, clear warnings and consideration for guest safety. Food and Service The quality of the food was disappointing and fell short of what we would reasonably expect from a hotel of this kind. There also appeared to be insufficient staff to provide an adequate level of service, which added to our frustration. Guests pay for a holiday with the expectation of being able to relax and enjoy their stay, not to encounter a series of avoidable problems that detract from the experience. My Care Facilities and Access to Sunbeds We were also disappointed with the way the dedicated My Care areas of the hotel were managed. These areas appeared to be completely open to all guests rather than being properly restricted to those entitled to use them. As a result, we were unable to access sunbeds as we had expected. If these facilities are promoted as dedicated areas for My Care guests, there should be clear access arrangements and appropriate measures in place to ensure that the facilities are available to the guests for whom they are intended. The lack of effective restrictions undermined the experience and added to our overall disappointment. Overall Experience and Expectations Taken together, these issues made our holiday far less enjoyable and relaxing than it should have been. From arriving to find an insecure balcony door requiring immediate repair, to dealing with defective facilities, unpleasant odours, poor food, inadequate service and the wet-paint incident, there were simply too many problems to overlook. Basic maintenance should be completed before guests arrive. Hygiene standards should be consistently maintained, facilities should be safe and fit for purpose, food should be of a reasonable standard, and staffing levels should be sufficient to provide the service guests have paid for. Appropriate warning signs and safety procedures should also be in place whenever maintenance work is being carried out. We would expect hotel management to take these concerns seriously, investigate the issues raised and implement meaningful improvements to maintenance, cleanliness, staffing, guest safety and the management of the My Care facilities. Sadly, our experience fell well short of expectations, and we left feeling extremely disappointed. Based on the standard of accommodation, service and facilities we encountered, we would struggle to recommend this hotel unless significant and lasting improvements are made
