    The restaurants onsite are fantastic, I didn’t like the breakfasts, I thought they were presented well, but taste like bland mush. But the wife said it was great, so maybe it’s just me. The breakfast was included, so it’s nothing to worry about, I just went to Fold over the road for breakfast.

    Booking Reference **********... 10 days before we were due to leave for Bali, we received an email saying the hotel was making \"some exciting improvements\". It also said \"it’s likely that you will hear light noise from the Brasserie, pool and garden areas\". 10 days before we were due to leave was not enough time to make any changes to what we wanted from the holiday. More importantly what was described as \"light noise\" was not light noise, on several days it was very noisy and could be heard across the whole of the hotel site. What was not mentioned in the email was the fact that the hotel rice fields would be inaccessible. The rice fields and the general view was the main reasons we chose this hotel. We had messaged the hotel beforehand to ask for a quiet room overlooking the rice fields, they made no indication that there would be any problems . After 4 or 5 days we expressed our disappointment to one member of staff and a manager offered to change our room, while this moved us away from the noise it meant we had absolutely no view except a wall of bamboo. I feel that more information should be given to future travellers who book this hotel.
