    It was perfect. The only one negative was there was no air conditioning in the hotel, rooms and the gym which wasn’t great. The restaurant and bars were still pleasant to sit in but sleeping was a bit to warm.

    There was lots going on. Always clean. Lots of food and drink on offer. Different options available on different nights. Hotel is spaced out also so never felt crowded

    “schönes, etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel”

    Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Tolle Poolanlage. Abwechslungsreiches Essen. Das Hotel ist schön, kann aber eine Renovierung vertragen.

    Overall, the experience was okay, but the hotel left a lot to be desired. The cleanliness of the rooms was disappointing. At first, we kept thinking, “Maybe they will do a better job tomorrow,” and then, “Maybe the day after tomorrow.” However, when an entire week had passed and the bed sheets still had not been changed, we became very disappointed. They did vacuum the floor, but they did not vacuum underneath the beds. The beds were quite high, so it would have been very easy to clean underneath them. As we were travelling with children, they occasionally dropped toys under the beds, and it was like a jungle underneath there. The floor was parquet, and it was only cleaned properly once during our stay. After that, my wife started complaining to reception, and only then did they start doing something about it. The air-conditioning grille was full of mould, both on the outside and inside. There was so much mould that there were even large amounts of mould deposits on the wall around the grille. Our four-year-old daughter developed a throat infection which resulted in additional expenses for a doctor and antibiotics. The doctor advised us to check the air-conditioning vent in the room and said that if we could see mould there, it could be the source of the problem. It was only then that we checked the vent ourselves and realised how much mould there actually was. Just imagine how many mould particles were being continuously blown into the room. It was very hot outside, so we had to keep the air conditioning running, including during the night, and the room door had to remain closed because otherwise the air conditioning would switch off. In other words, we were essentially breathing in those particles continuously throughout our stay.
